The Gondár Group

The Gondár group is a 100% Hungarian privately owned company. Our extensive portfolio covers transportation, freight forwarding and warehousing, as well as production logistics and consulting.

Since 2007, we have operated as two independent legal entities: Gondár Transport Kft. (transportation and freight forwarding) and Gondár Logisztikai Kft. (warehousing and logistics). Both entities operate under unified quality principles within an ISO-certified framework.

Our History

The Gondár name obliges

1930s József Gondár - the grandfather of György Gondár, owner of Gondár Transzport - began his career as an independent trucker in Mosonmagyaróvár. He was a member of the National Association of Hungarian Freight Carriers (MATEOSZ).

Post-WWII Nationalisation halts private haulage. The Gondár legacy is suspended - but not extinguished.

1989 The business started as a sole proprietorship.

1997 Gondár Transport Kft. is founded - immediately serving international haulage for Hungarian, German and Austrian clients.

2000s ISO certification obtained. Automotive compliance standards introduced. Warehousing services launched, freight optimisation implemented.

2007 The group splits into two entities: Gondár Transport Kft. (haulage) and Gondár Logisztikai Kft. (warehousing) - both based in Mosonszolnok, next to the M1 motorway.

Today 46 employees, 12,000 m² of warehouse space, full fleet with iTrack GPS tracking, regular Western European routes. Personal relationships and fast decision-making remain the group's core values.
